All the excitement of chasing waves seems to have taken its toll on Ella last night but it was business as usual this morning. Lots of people asking where we are, it is Tolcarne holiday village.

The group heel work didn’t quite go as planned but it is early days.😂

Unbelievable practically the whole beach to herself last night and this morning. I don’t think Ella will ever forget this experience and nor will I. ❤️

Good job TPD Frank was on a lead watching the cricket. Particularly when the ball was knocked towards the boundary because I have a feeling if he was off lead the ball wouldn’t have reached the boundary

Training on Sunday for the youngsters TPD Vader with Andy, TPD Storm with Abi and TPD Kobi with Tanesha. Tracking, toy searching and control work. They are all progressing very nicely

💥Domestic TWOC in South Devon whereby male has driven off extremely intoxicated ….. Saka’s handler found the car crashed & abandoned so over to Saka who tracked to one very drunk man trying to hide in bushes …. One in custody for TWOC, drink drive & disqualified driving 💥

Six months ago, he came to us from the streets, tired, sick, and having never known a life of love. We set out to teach him what love felt like, but the truth is, he ended up teaching us. Even as his cancer kept fighting, Atlas kept loving us with everything he had🥰 Rest easy, sweet boy❤️

🐾🌈 𝐑𝐏𝐃 𝐄𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞 🌈🐾 We are sad to share we have said goodbye to a much-loved member of the NFRSA family. RPD Eddie from @PSOSDogs and @PoliceScotland has left for his next adventure - but WHAT a story… Some dogs leave pawprints. Eddie left absolute & wonderful chaos. Watch the video till the end, & you’ll see just what a legend he was. Known locally as “Ed the Ned”, Eddie was a proper spaniel in every sense of the word — wild, fearless, endlessly curious, & just a little bit bonkers. Arriving to his handler Davie at just one year old, Eddie quickly qualified as a specialist drugs & firearms detection dog, & he threw himself into the job with his trademark enthusiasm. In fact, only a few months after licensing, he became something of a celebrity when he starred alongside his handler in the television series Dog Detectives, aired on @Discovery and @QuestTV. One memorable episode captured Eddie searching a property before deciding he was thirsty… and helping himself to the water in a suspect’s bong. Not exactly his finest professional moment, but an epic blooper! Despite the occasional lapse in judgement, Eddie was an exceptional detection police dog. He located drugs with a street value of more than £400,000 in a single find and helped recover numerous live firearms during his long career. The truth is, Eddie never really switched off. Whether on duty or off, he was always searching, always sniffing, & always convinced there was something interesting just around the corner. At home, he was equally devoted. He needed to know what everyone was doing, had to investigate absolutely everything, & became Erin’s loyal shadow. Retirement was sadly far too short, but it was filled with love, adventure, & the people who adored him, before he crossed Rainbow Bridge in May. It was a privilege to support Eddie with his final bill, just like we did for his big brother RPD Rudi when he passed away in 2024. Run free now, Eddie - you are both together again, & we love the thought of your happy reunion. Ella loves tracking and even when I put a bit of time on the track her ability is such that she finds it all very easy.

Walking in to see the dogs in the retirement village is literally the best feeling in the entire world. They should all be dead by now but to see them here with dignity and comfortable in their surroundings is a thing of sheer beauty ❤️
