35 years ago today Maiden crossed finish line of the Whitbread Round the World Race & sailed into the record books, the first all-female crew to ever sail/race around the world. We were told we would die, we didn't, we won 2 legs & came 2nd overall! #girlpower #XX @maidenfactor
