Back on site @big_malarkey without our friends @hull_librariestoday :( It’s the last bits of technical finagling. Anyone remember that scene in Apollo 13? “I need to you make this fit into this, using only these..”
Unfortunately, due to works by Northern Powergrid the Makerspace will be closed on Thursday 8th May. We are expecting to be open as normal on Friday 9th May.
A lovely evening in prospect for a few of us tonight. Representing @hull_libraries at the Hull & East Riding Skills Bootcamp Awards 2025. Wish us luck.
We're sorry to have to share this but due to a technical issue the makerspace is unable to open today (6th January 2025).
We're working hard behind the scenes and will keep you updated as we find out more about the issue and how long the closure will be.

Our Demystifying Making group are on week 3 and are making some amazing T-shirts and learning about dye sublimation. I’m a bit concerned about this imprint left on the Teflon sheet that literally is the ghost of Elvis…
And they’re off!
With their individual cries and distinctive plumage, the Curiosity news vendors are now distributing the free Curiosity newspaper across Hull city centre.

Our Matt is back helping @bbcburnsy with laser cutting. Curious to see if it really is that easy? Pop in and see us in Central Library and have a chat with our friendly and helpful team.
Another brilliant free session from @makerspacehull at @hull_libraries, soldering, wiring, laser printing & building a light cube with my eldest daughter #stem
