Probably the best thing you'll see today. In 2017, a group of developers hilariously competed for who could create worst volume control interface in the world. The results 🧵 1/22

extremely cool that all of these things exist but i just wanna use liveview and never talk to anyone about javascript frameworks ever again
I know we get caught up in our micro preferences for frameworks. But let’s not lose sight of the fact that truly: @reactjs is a phenomenal framework @vuejs is a phenomenal framework @nextjs is a phenomenal framework @nuxt_js is a phenomenal framework @sveltejs is a phenomenal framework @remix_run is a phenomenal framework @solid_js is a phenomenal framework @MarkoDevTeam is a phenomenal framework @preactjs is a phenomenal framework @astrodotbuild is a phenomenal framework @angular is a phenomenal framework @QwikDev is a phenomenal framework ... and honestly many more that i can't possibly list with just two thumbs I know JS framework fatigue is a thing. But unlike many years ago, these days it’s really hard to go wrong with any of these great options. I hope my excitement for new frameworks and developments doesn’t cloud away from the fact that overall, these are *all* incredible projects made by amazing people pushing the industry forward and collectively benefiting us all

i don’t understand why people act like music is a zero sum game. they’ll be like “x is just a worse version of y” but all i hear is “hey you know that thing you like? there’s more of it”

also, i spent my formative years listening to music that was objectively bad and i fuckin loved it. you can’t dissuade me by saying something is not good lol
