We so rarely know the story of the people killed at our border. He was trying to reunify with his sons in the UK, and he couldn’t do so regularly so he had to use smugglers. If we had any functional family reunion mechanisms he wouldn’t have died.

I am horrified by last night’s antisemitic attacks on Israeli citizens in Amsterdam.
My thoughts are with those injured, their families, and everyone affected.
