iOS low power mode no longer seems to be turning on automatically when my battery reaches 20%. I noticed it as early as 16.1; on 16.1.2 now. Has anyone else seen this?

With today’s launch of the iPhones 16, there's a lot of talk about eSim, especially in the US where this year’s phones won’t have a physical SIM card tray. I wouldn’t have had much to say about it until a couple weeks ago when I began using an eSIM while traveling. 📱🧵(1/x)

This used to be a big issue for me when swapping physical SIM cards on previous trips back in the day. Maybe it has gotten better in recent years, but I can't speak to that. I haven't done this in a while!

As a bonus for us nerds, you get to experience a whole new set of iOS UI, such as two sets of network signal strength indicators and a "From" field/indicator on your text messages and calls designating which line was used. Fun!
