As Hyundai Culture Center continues expanding its programs into areas like AI and investing, SynFutures and Future House are helping introduce Web3 to a wider audience and leading this space early in Korea. 🌙 About the Lecture The session was designed for people who are new to Web3 and blockchain, making the topics easy and comfortable to follow. During the 80 minute lecture, we talked about how real services are being used today and what the overall market trend currently looks like in a simple way. We’re finally at a point where we can confidently say tokenization is essential to building the next gen finance, without adding new risk metrics to the equation…… if the fundamental choices from day 1 are made right. Getting those fundamentals right requires making the difficult decisions. Minting a token is the easiest part. Minting a token BEFORE the underlying asset settles is the shortcut to serve the ultimate ux because it "guarantees" price and atomic delivery on the surface. But when a rwa token settles with zero slippage, is that real delivery? At Anchored, our tokenized US stock is the proof of concept. We’ve proven we can build the product with regulator-tested structure and lowest latency solution possible. We’re incredibly excited for what we are shipping in Q2.

JUST IN: Hana Bank, one of South Korea’s largest commercial banks, acquired a $670 million stake in Dunamu, the operator of the country’s largest crypto exchange Upbit. The firms also agreed to cooperate on building infrastructure for a won-denominated stablecoin ecosystem.
