@markszymik is now making vask.dev even better 🙌 🔥 Which feels particularly special, because we met up in person because of laramap.dev/ ! We found out we live 4 minutes from each other 😁 The Laravel community is simply too awesome, I love it 🫶

I'm becoming convinced there is going to be an explosion of jobs for people who are great at using agents. There's a clear line I'm seeing between people: 1. Use Claude Code / Codex / Devin / etc 2. Use ChatGPT / Gemini / Perplexity Distinction is simple: If your agent writes persistent code, you're in group 1 and the future is v v bright.

Just released the best websocket tester / playground 🤩 - 100% free, web-based - Relay server lets you set custom HTTP headers - Echo server built-in - Save workspaces, custom messages, reconnect & heartbeat settings Need to test websockets? Do it here: vask.to/tester

Worst part about building solo: you ship something genuinely useful and nobody sees it.

👋 Vask says howdy: Websockets, but better 🔥 • Powered by Cloudflare • No fanout tax: 1 broadcast to 500k = 1 message • Drop-in Pusher replacement First 20 peeps: code ASHLEY-ISNT-THAT-BAD = 50% off forever (only if you agree, Stripe checks) vask.dev

Opus 4.7 is really good 🚀

Getting API errors in ClaudeCode - does it mean Opus 4.7 is being released? 🤔

The only issue I'm having with ClaudeCode is that it seems to be not performing as well as it used to. I don't have token issues etc. Codex is good, but it's useless at UI and sometimes goes too far/deep, so I use it in moderation.

💡 AI agent trick ⚡ Laravel Boost is great, But you can go much deeper and real power comes when you control the system, not the prompt. Define your own context.yml guideline/*.md and force AI to follow your system. Queue logic, model rules, query patterns, deploy constraints… everything scoped. This way AI doesn’t waste time (or your tokens) scanning irrelevant code. Prompts become task-focused, scoped by context.yml “Load queue context and optimize retry logic. Return diff only.” Control context → control outcomes.

I wonder if any update on this - did I missed it anywhere? @trq212 @mattpocockuk
Can I get some questions answered by someone at Anthropic? 1. Can you use an OAuth token generated from a subscription to power the Claude Agent SDK strictly for using Claude Code in a local dev loop? All I want is a more reliable API for parallelizing multiple Claude Code's. 2. If I build an open source tool that relies on this pattern - i.e. for making parallelization easier - can I distribute it so that other people can use it? The reason I'm asking is that the legal compliance docs and @trq212's public statements (below) appear to contradict. x.com/trq212/status/20242123…

LiteLLM HAS BEEN COMPROMISED, DO NOT UPDATE. We just discovered that LiteLLM pypi release 1.82.8. It has been compromised, it contains litellm_init.pth with base64 encoded instructions to send all the credentials it can find to remote server self-replicate. link below

At current pace of technology, companies can no longer survive through purely incremental improvement, u either choose to disrupt or be disrupted.

Just had a week "off" (almost zero social media/coding/AI) - it feels great. Also discovered some "gifts" from Anthropic: double usage and 1M context window 🚀

Dana White on his employees' work schedule: "I don’t care if you f*cking do your work at 9 o’clock this morning or 9 o’clock tonight. If your kid has a school function, practice, or a game, I hope you’re gonna go. That sh*t is very important to me."
