Opting not to allow out of season coaching is a mistake. The privileged will seek private options and others will have nothing. Regardless of the sport, kids need contact with their coaches for emotional health!! This is not equitable or wise

How many of the remaining 3% (7) played youth, did they play in today's era with the changes, since second impact syndrome, and we now sit out players with concussions?

Was there a control group for those 7 players? Average age 51, assuming the 7 players graduated HS in 1984. How many of the nearly 1,000,000 other players were included?

I will provide testimony next wk in NYC opposing legislation to ban tackle football for children under the age of 12. We are making great strides to minimize risk in football at all levels. All sports have an inherent risk; focusing on football is not fair @USAFootball @NYSPHSAA
