My job now is to break down the requirements into bite-sized pieces that the AI can understand—and that I can easily review later—point out example components for the AI to use as a guide, then wait and check the results. Did I forget anything?

I’m currently quite busy with the usual last 20% at work (#ParetoPrinciple). Still, I’ve managed to find a quick moment to make some progress on my rather complex new 3D model. #OpenSCAD #3dprinting

So far, so good. The box could still turn out to be anything. Now for the inner qualities.

I feel a bit like I’m 5 to 10 years late to the party, but I’m currently really impressed by this library by Kurt Hutton (@IrevDev), which just can #RoundAnything, mainly polygon with #OpenSCAD though. ;) github.com/Irev-Dev/Round-An…

Made a lot more progress this weekend. It feels like a real app now: settings are broken up into multiple panels, there are lots more keyboard shortcuts, and you can select paths by clicking on them. It also allows overlapping paths at varying heights.

every skeleton screen you've ever hand-coded is a waste of time you're literally measuring padding and guessing widths to build a worse version of a layout that already exists in your DOM so I made a package that just reads the real one

Ditched boring flat maps forever. Population Density 3D map- This is a premium glass-like orb floating in a quantum black void, with glowing spikes for every major city - taller brighter = higher population. Rotate it. Zoom in. It was a fun exercise balancing 3D performance with clean, minimal UI. Tech Stack: React Vite | @threejs | Tailwind CSS | Lucide React What do you think of the dark aesthetic? Rich and I just worked a combined 3 hours on a tricky bug. AI quickly found out where it breaks and proposed a fix. But it was the wrong fix - we took the time to find out what was the underlying reason and fixed that instead. Always think through what AI proposes to you.

The game is changing. It's always been changing. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. But however the new board is set, you'll win nothing by turning bitter about whatever old advantages you've lost.

Maybe it's just not the right time to start using @DrizzleORM ; current/legacy version has its issues, beta version has its issues; not getting anything done this way. ;(
