I’ve never seen so many conservatives AND liberals stand together as I’ve seen in opposition of this proposed mass sale of public lands. Conservation of our nation’s beauty is a deeply patriotic and nonpartisan value.

🐐🔥🐐 POTENTIAL SOLUTION TO WILDFIRES IN CALIFORNIA: GOATS I'm Treasurer of the Malibu La Costa Beach & Tennis Club (not fancy - dues <$70/mo) & last summer we hired MANY goats to clear all the brush around our tennis courts. EVERYTHING ELSE BURNED - courts SURVIVED. There was a lot that could have burned including accessory structures, lighting, screens/netting etc but they're largely untouched while all the houses on the hill around it are GONE. So why not fill all these hills with thousands of goats year round? They'll clear the vegetation, create fertilizer, plus they're cute. I used to raise them as a kid. I know goats can overdo it and destabilize hills but if they're properly managed, they can be moved to the right areas.

Nobody likes hearing this, but Gen Z has the opportunity to pull off the greatest small town revival in American history. The millennials fled their hometowns in droves, leaving a vacuum. Now look at any town under 25k pop. and find a craftsman home for about $100k.

In the 40s-70s, Americans could raise a family on 1 salary. Corporations were greedy then too. What changed? In 71, Nixon gave Gov/the Fed the power to print as much $ as it wants. Every time the Fed prints, the lower/middle class’ $ is worth a little less (inflation).

Pretty astonishing research about a guy who cured his years-long chronic rhinosinusitis in 4 days by humming for one hour a day and therefore naturally boosting his production of nitric oxide, a potent antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal

The article is from Medical Hypotheses, a journal known for promoting pseudoscience and conspiracy theories, including AIDS denialism. Another MH paper speculated that ejaculation helped nasal congestion. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medical_H… aidstruth.org/sites/aidstrut… Case reports (n=1) are often regarded as weak evidence in medicine

We did it! We tested 300 Bay Area foods for plastic chemicals. We found some interesting surprises. Top 5 findings in our test results: 1. Our tests found plastic chemicals in 86% of all foods, with phthalates in 73% of the tested products and bisphenols in 22%. It's everywhere. 2. We detected phthalates in most baby foods and prenatal vitamins. 3. Hot foods which spend 45 minutes in takeout containers have 34% higher levels of plastic chemicals than the same dishes tested directly from the restaurant. 4. The 1950s Army rations we tested contained surprisingly high levels of plastic chemicals. 5. Almost every single one of the foods we tested are within both US FDA and EU EFSA regulations. Check out our full results below.
I'm going to re-run all these tests on food we eat in California. Also going to test for other plastic chemicals. Let me know what foods we should test and suggestions for methodology.

Time to learn an entertainment or service skill. Computers have been beating humans at chess since 1988. Yet the chess industry is expected to grow 4% a year from now until 2031. When it comes to the arts, humans will always be interested in other humans.

Slightly tangential but the restaurant industry may be the closest thing to unfettered capitalism. Tons of competition, too many players for any one corporation to dominate. Too many options for consumers. As a result restaurants can’t really exploit consumers

This is what happens when people can’t afford healthcare and houses. Because the govn’t (owned by corporations) won’t stop printing money to fund foreign wars. Which causes inflation that destroys the middle class poor. The solution is to restore true free-market capitalism.
Say hello to America's communist generation...

Typo. Should say: “Which causes inflation that destroys the middle class.”
