When I was little, my Dad found a small brass key among the personal effects of my grandfather. It had what looked like a small red gemstone on the handle and the tattered remnants of a navy blue ribbon tied to it.

It appears that Twitter have shut down their API to third-party clients. I guess that means that maybe I won’t be a regular user any more. Look for me on the network with the prehensile trunk.

If Moseley were really a village: • People would be able to tell just by looking; you wouldn't need to try to convince them by printing it on their train tickets. • It wouldn't be getting a new railway station in the first place.

OFCOM created UK phone numbers which aren't real but do ring to use in TV shows (like the US "555" numbers). Next time an app or website wants your phone number for no good non-spam reason, give it one of these. 07700 900000 and 0121 496 0000 are good. ofcom.org.uk/phones-telecoms…

Things I’d like to see in the Wi-FI configuration on Android: • A log of the time and location each network was last used. • A notes field. I have no idea what all these saved SKYXXXXX networks are.
