Some more rain tomorrow with heavy pulses before improving in the West in afternoon. Showers on Thursday but after that there is very little if any rain in sight! Yes you did read that right, dry from after Thursday for at least 5-7 days and possibly longer!

Mill Street in Cork has hit 60mm since midnight now and 78mm in 24 hours. Dunmanway also in Cork has hit 50mm since midnight and 73mm in 24 hours. The rain is slowly edging East but remains heavy in the Southeast and East.
