We are deeply saddened by the loss of David Hockney, a visionary and friend to Apple. David showed that creativity has no limits, turning iPad into a canvas for some of the most vibrant art of our time. His legacy will inspire us all to see the world a little more beautifully.

My mother passed away peacefully this morning. She was surrounded by loved ones yesterday and held my older sister’s hand all night and into the morning. I am sad and I miss her, but I am so glad we were able to tell her again how much we love her and how thankful we are to have been part of her life. Though her body was tired, her wit and humor shined through until the very end. Love you, mom.
