Was able to text two of my coworkers at 1am this morning that they did not need to come in at 4am to irrigate. We received 0.6" of rain. Great start to a Monday!

The cumulative effect of our drought will linger into early 2027 regardless of the precipitation patterns going forward across South Jersey. The positive spin, less rot pressure for NJ fruit crops that survived this springs freezes. Beautiful Saturday is upon us, Enjoy! 😎

We are seeing at least 4 stations reporting an air temp of 39° in the pines at the moment (6 AM).

June 9th, just past 3am and every irrigation system on the farm is running after hitting our start temperature of 33° across all the systems. Very unusual to have everything running on this date outside of the colder systems. When does frost season end @NWS_MountHolly 🤣🥶😴

Trying to do the first fungicide on the early variety bogs tomorrow morning pre-sunrise while dealing with a frost morning is good stuff! @oxlamb I wonder if @cass_gilmore is in the exact same situation up there in Massachusetts? 🥶

Not expecting much but hoping somehow we squeeze out a half inch of rain. Have an irrigation scheduled tomorrow morning across the farm starting at 4 am. We will adjust the duration of the irrigation depending on how much or little rain we receive this evening.
