i’m a leftist and this is my winning political strategy
Success breeds more success. If he wins his senate race, it means thousands of people support M4A.

the Filton 4 got sentenced to 20 combined years and Hasan Piker is calling principled opposition to Graham Platner's war crimes "manufactured scandals"

sorry MANUFACTURED SCANDALS????? get fucking real??????????
the manufactured scandals around platner have nothing to do with his background & everything to do with trying to take out a left populist antizionist candidate before he can flip a red senate seat. they’ll complain abt the tattoo or whatever but if he loses centrist liberals will do exactly what aipac does & use the manufactured lies to claim going against israel or demanding medicare for all is something the voters rejected.

people who think long covid is psychosocial / psychosomatic have such a grave misunderstanding of post-acute sequelae. my long covid was visible, measurable lung and blood vessel damage. you think i anxietied my way into that, and meditated my way out of it? fucking no lol

As a neurologist, it is now patently clear to me that the vast majority of people on the planet are suffering from neuroinflammation or brain damage (likely both) The way people speak & behave has changed. Markedly so. Whether irl, or via messaging/social media. It’s noticeable

It's because everyone is in denial of the ongoing nature of it also lies a lot about how they experienced the early days of the pandemic. You cannot reckon with reality while refusing to engage with it and rewriting history, you just can't.
I know this is kind of whiney & each generation had similar events, but it does feel markedly different in that there’s been zero recovery, even a temporary one— or a promise of one. We don’t even get a false rebound like the Obama years. It’s just a steep never-ending landslide.

The Covid cautious might be a small minority but so many failing workplaces are being held together by those same few. It’s all hanging by a thread, and that thread is comprised of the small fraction of the population sensible enough to not catch a brain damaging virus repeatedly

Least Racist Jacobin Op-Ed
Chris Smalls shot to prominence for playing a key role in the shock union win at a New York Amazon warehouse. He was charismatic and energetic at a time labor needed both. But in the years since, his own ego has overwhelmed his political contributions. jacobin.com/2026/06/smalls-a…

you’re defending this in the name of what. pragmatism? charity? or do you just not give a fuck?
So, unless there's something else coming, the big NYT exposé is that Platner was a bad boyfriend to some women but also a good boyfriend to other women? nytimes.com/2026/06/04/us/po…

this is not a joke. this is not the way normal people make jokes. Graham Platner is a dangerous person. if the hunting people for fun didn’t already make that clear for you.
I feel a little bad for the people who’ve backed themselves into a corner to defend Graham Platner at all costs. Must be humiliating lol

there’s no way you’re fucking serious. are these people serious?
NYT published uncorroborated accusations against @grahamformaine of “unsettling” and “toxic” behavior that came from a Heritage staffer who previously worked for a conservative org that backs Collins.
