Last night, another act of political violence shook the nation. At this point, no one should be surprised. “The President is a fascist.” “Eat the rich.” “Let the streets soak in capitalists’ blood.” “Globalize the intifada.” “By any means necessary.” This isn’t fringe rhetoric anymore. It’s been normalized, echoed on campaign trails, and amplified on podcasts where politicians regularly appear. You don’t get to indulge this language, elevate those who use it, and then act shocked when it turns into violence. We need to get back to sanity before we lose our country.

Naming and bogeyizing citizens -- in this case, Ken Griffin -- is dangerous, un-American, and illiberal. ("Bogeyize" is a Buckley word, by the way. You won't find it in Webster's.) Demagogues start with easy targets -- and then, somehow, get to you ...

How on earth can it cost $30 million and three years for the NYC government to build a grocery store in Harlem? There are *dozens* of grocery stores for sale, all over New York City, for less than $5M. Many are less than $1M. This seems like a scam. (or vanity project)

Because the freedoms you mindlessly benefit from and disregard daily are not free. Some are still willing to shoulder that burden so others can live with their heads in the sand.

The full quote was, “This happens in every single state, but it happens a lot more in California.” Wonder why the Newsom press team left out the last part. 🤔

California is spending $100 million on a bridge for animals. San Francisco is spending millions on nonprofits that specialize in Egyptian healing rituals and giving massage therapy to black criminals. It's insanity.
