A video clip spreading misinformation on social media claims that “farmers will get Rs. 100 per week as compensation from the government if they have electric poles or transformers in their fields and householders will get free electricity from 2000 to 5000 Units, further it was stated in the fake message that farmers will get a compensation of ₹5000 if they have entered an agreement with Energy department”. This is a false news with malicious intent to mislead farmers. No such plan has been announced by the State Government, any ESCOM, the Energy Department or KPTCL. ಗ್ರಾಹಕರೇ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಸುದ್ದಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರವಹಿಸಿ!! ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ "ರೈತರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜಮೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕಂಬ ಅಥವಾ ಟ್ರಾನ್ಸ್‌ಫಾರ್ಮರ್ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ 50 ರೂ. ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಲಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಗೃಹಬಳಕೆದಾರರು ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ 2000 - 5000 ಯೂನಿಟ್ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ₹5000 ಪರಿಹಾರ ಧನ ನೀಡಲಿದೆ" ಎನ್ನುವ ಗಾಳಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಹರಿದಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಸುದ್ದಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ರೈತರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪು ದಾರಿಗೆ ಎಳೆಯುವ ದುರುದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಯಾವುದೇ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರ ಅಥವಾ ಇಂಧನ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಕೆ.ಪಿ.ಟಿ.ಸಿ.ಎಲ್ ಅಥವಾ ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಎಸ್ಕಾಂಗಳು ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಇಂತಹ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿ. ಇಂತಹ ಗಾಳಿಸುದ್ದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬದಿರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಗೊಂದಲಗಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ, ನಮ್ಮ 24x7 ಸಹಾಯವಾಣಿ 1912 ಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಮಾಡಿ.
