It's gone. DHL strung us along for two days saying they'd absolutely have the package within the week and that they'd call us back today. We had to CALL DHL TODAY because they didn't call us only to find they had quietly closed our case without telling us. I'm so angry right now
so. I am dealing with something rn We ordered 100s of dollars of charms for an upcoming con @DHLUS sent the package TO AN AMAZON WAREHOUSE BY ACCIDENT After pestering both companies it's clear the package will not be returned to us in time if at all Manu can't refund us

I don't really care if you choose to migrate to another platform, but deleting your account that has an existing library is a massive mistake. At most, just leave it as it is. You spent money on those purchases, don't waste them away.
Octopath Traveler 0 will be the final game I play on Steam. After that, I'm going to terminate my account & just play everything on my Switch 2 or on the Xbox app. Thanks for the memories, but I've had enough.

Hahahaha ok well welcome to the thousands of new @PikunikuGame fans after the announcement of the sequel. If you haven't fallen in love yet, the original is super cheap on Steam and Nintendo Switch right now. 🌻

I always love the supposition that goes on here. We're expected to believe that the industry would charge us less if not for Valve's cut, and yet first party sellers on Consoles are trying to charge you $80 a game and if they can get away with it, make it industry standard.
Consumer Competition Claims (CCC), through GameClaim, has launched a new class action against Valve in the Netherlands. The group claims Valve controls around 85% of the PC game market and uses rules that make it harder for developers to sell games cheaper on other stores. It also argues that Steam’s 30% cut on game sales is too high and shows anti-competitive behaviour. According to CCC, Dutch gamers have paid more than they should due to these practices, with total damages estimated at over €220 million since 2013.. The group says it will first try to reach a settlement with Valve. If that fails, the case could go to court and may take several years to resolve.

it's funny how Valve spanked an actual Rothschild in court and then all of a sudden a bunch of these weird spurious lawsuits popped up it's bullshit btw they're not a monopoly and 30% cut is quite literally industry standard you pay that to sell on Nintendo/Sony/Xbox consoles
Valve has been hit by yet another class action lawsuit in the Netherlands, this time from Consumer Competition Claims (CCC). The CCC claims that Valve holds a dominant position in the market, estimated at around 85%, and is breaching competition law through so-called "Most Favoured Nation" clauses. They argue that Valve’s 30 percent cut on all game sales is too high and reflects monopolistic behaviour. Dutch consumers have suffered total damages of more than €220 million. Source: GameClaim

"Consumers" don't want to use the other platforms because they're crap. And reducing the 30% cut WON'T make the games any cheaper for us, we know how corpos work. Stop talking in our behalf!

THE UK JUST MADE PRIVACY A CRIME. The government wants a scanner built inside every phone in the country. Scanning every citizen becomes the law. Refusing becomes 5 years in prison. - The scanners would inspect every photo, message and video on your device before encryption - Signal threatened to leave the UK entirely rather than build the backdoor - Europe's age verification app built to "keep children safe" was hacked in under 2 minutes - Another verification system leaked 70,000 IDs and selfies in a single breach Orwell wrote 1984 as a warning. His own country turned it into law
BREAKING: The UK is drafting a law to scan every photo, video and message on every phone in the country. Tech CEOs who refuse to implement this could face up to 5 years in prison. The proposal would force companies to build device level scanners that inspect content before encryption. That means: • Every image scanned • Every message inspected • Every video analyzed All directly on your phone. Governments and companies pushing these safety” systems already have a terrible track record protecting user data. Last month, Europe’s new age verification app, promoted as a way to "keep children safe," was hacked in under 2 minutes. In another case, over 70,000 IDs and selfies linked to online verification systems were exposed in a major breach. Now the UK wants even deeper access directly inside your device. Once governments force surveillance tools into every phone, they can expand what gets monitored at any time.

From u/KhalBrogo39 on Reddit: If you donated to the Mansell family’s GoFundMe, Bricks & Minifigs is now trying to steal from YOU, too! If you haven’t been convinced already, you should absolutely take your #LEGO-related business elsewhere.
Another LEGO scandal update! 🚨 Due to a Utah Judge granting Bricks & Minifigs a Temporary Restraining Order against Reckless Ben & Bryan Mansell, their $400k Gofundme has been TAKEN down. Unclear if it will come back up but I'd bet BAM will go after the funds in their lawsuit.

Louis Rossmann is planning to sue Samsung because of a warranty problem with a 4TB SSD drive that he bought from Best Buy for around 330 dollars about two years ago and that stopped working while still under warranty. He sent Samsung proof of the failure and they asked for the drive to test it but after checking they returned it saying it was fine even though Rossmann tested it again and confirmed it was still broken. Samsung then offered him only the original 330 dollar refund and said they had no stock for a replacement yet the exact same drive is currently selling on Amazon for about 949 dollars.
