The level of satisfaction gained from planning and then building a rather complex application that has multiple integration points that have been developed in silos over the past few months finally coming together and just working is incredible.

Growing up we had drills. Tornado drills and fire drills. The fact that children today have active shooter drills is insane. How did that become the norm vs actually doing something? Kids shouldn’t have to learn how to barricade doors and hide from someone with a gun.

Does anyone remember a mobile FWA from a few years back, it was for an agency I believe as a holiday thing… you had to tap or eat mushrooms and then tripped out with an elf? I know this sounds insane but I swear it exists.
There is something so satisfying about building a quick prototype. Getting something built and out quickly that gets an idea across better than static designs is 👌
Having senior dogs is such a wild ride. Woke up at 3am to a pup with a thrown out back, spend all day applying ice and making him comfortable and then 11pm rolls around and he’s back and spry and acting like a puppy. I’m. So. Tired. I love them but man it’s a rollercoaster.
