What a moment for Josh Pate and his show. I don’t care what side of the aisle you’re on, if you have the opportunity to interview the President of the United States, the answer is always yes. When Pat McAfee had San Francisco mayor, Daniel Lurie on his show during Super Bowl week, it was a fantastic interview and Mayor Lurie is doing some phenomenal things in San Francisco. I’ve interviewed Republicans and Democrats throughout my career. There’s a lot to learn and it’s valuable to get different perspectives in the marketplace of ideas. This will of course get blowback from the loud crowd on social media, which I believe represents a small portion of how most people actually feel in America. It’s okay to disagree with people. I don’t have the same views as all my friends and family members. That doesn’t mean I hate them. Our views and opinions are shaped by our own life experiences and all of our life experiences as people are not the same.
