reach an agent via the taxpayers hotline to help me with my online account setup or my credit card payment verification (i understand payments are not taken by phone, but somebody should be able to tell me what is going wrong!) Very frustrating...

@coloradogov why are the revenueonline websites basically unusable?? It is appealing how difficult it is to pay my tax duties. It is literally easier to get a refund than to pay my taxes I owe. I'm completely helpless as I don't get a person on the phone and my account isn't

getting activated and credit card payments are rejected for verification of the order errors without giving more details. VERY frustrating. And then I'm getting penalized for delays in payments...

The ingratiation of @Apple towards the Trump government (a golden statue WTAF?) makes me rethink my whole integration in the Apple ecosphere. It’s sickening…

I must be angering the flat earth community, I’ve had a few more violent threats than usual in my DMs. Guys, just buy a telescope, it’s literally that easy to see the ISS. Why would millions of private astronomers collaborate on this lie 😂 Here’s raw footage of it I captured:

I wonder whether tools like @curvenote has considered ways their platform could facilitate publishing for authors from the global south.

Chess Grandmaster Anna Muzychuk refuses to play in Saudi Arabia and says: "In a few days, I will lose two world titles, back to back." Because I decided not to go to Saudi Arabia. I refuse to play by special rules, to wear abaya, to be accompanied by a man so I can leave the hotel, so I don't feel like a second class person.

Wait what? Murati is leaving, Schulman left, Karpathy left, Ilya left, Leike left, Brockman is on leave, perhaps a dozen others left, GPT-5 hasn’t dropped, Sora hasn’t shipped, the company had an operating loss of $5b last year, there is no obvious moat, Meta is giving away similar software for free, many lawsuits pending, and people are valuing this company at $150 billion dollars? Absolutely insane. Investors shouldn’t be pouring more money at higher valuations, they should be asking what is going on.

"Las Meninas" is one of the most revolutionary (and mysterious) paintings in history. At first glance it might not be obvious why. But when you notice its little details, everything unravels… (thread) 🧵

This 600-year-old painting is one of the most mysterious in history. That mirror at the back is just 3 inches wide — yet it reflects the entire room in immense detail. Look closer at it and you'll realize nothing is as it seems… (thread) 🧵

@BBCNews it’s a pity that you feel the need to secure your iOS app so much that one cannot select single words anymore. A major feature for non-native English speakers has been for many years the ingenious dictionary lookup on iOS for single selected words.

That way I always could improve my English by looking up words I don’t know. This is now not possible anymore which I find quite sad for one of the best news services in existence. I sincerely hope that this could be reconsidered. Sincerely, Michael Aye
