The Ogallala is the lifeblood of western Kansas. And it’s vanishing. So it’s disappointing (but not necessarily surprising) to see that so many Kansans haven’t heard anything about it.
The Ogallala Aquifer is the primary water source for much of central & western Kansas. Drought, farm irrigation & city taps are draining it. 1/2 Do Kansans know what's at stake? In our @EmersonPolling survey we asked: How much have you seen, heard, read about the aquifer?
