I literally only came on this app to see what Heather had to say. I’d like to think that we both taught each other things, but I think she taught me the most. This is a terrible loss for the disability community and for those that loved her. I hope she is at peace.

Culturally, I identify as #Disabled. This initiative from @PBSAmerMasters is more than a series. It will share our history. We need this because our history is rarely, if ever, taught in schools. These stories will reframe what #Disability means to so many people. #TwoThumbsUp
