Very annoyed at racial profiling, stopped and searched at @ZARA today during my lunch break in Brisbane city centre. I literally had a tiny handbag and a slimline laptop bag, neither of which has any space to fit anything. Not a shoplifter, hugely embarrassing experience.

The most worrying thing about this decrease in funding is that much of these funds go to paying salaries or PhDs for early career researchers. This is harming Australia's future in science by effectively reducing the number of spaces for up and coming researchers.
