The Four Seasons is sublime. The writing, casting, performances, love everything about it. Everytime I feel like this about a tv show it immediately gets cancelled PLEASE NETFLIX GODS NOT THIS ONE

tried the viral rice paper dumpling thing. stuffed with so much filling that it became more of a roll than a dumpling😌 tasted damn good and was easy enough but definitely wasn't as easy as social media tells you it is.

the hardest part is having the rice paper wraps not touch each other even a little bit in the pan because if they touch they are glued together and that's it. that thing where people scoop the filling into the pan cover randomly with the wrapper and it comes out beautifully - LIE

The Correspondent was more like this gen's 84 Charing Cross Road until almost the end when it drove a sledgehammer through my heart, but Heart the Lover wrung me out from start to end. A worthy winner, nevertheless.

"vijay please thaniyaar vimaanam eduthu london ponga" is hands down my favourite dialogue of 2026. not a day goes by when I don't randomly think of it and laugh cry or sigh wistfully depending on my mood.

He went on this full rant about how HE CAME TO CHETPET FROM THURAIPAKKAM (oh my god for the 20th time) AND ALSO PAID FOR DINNER (which he did despite me offering to split it), and how I took advantage of his "niceness" and made a fool of him.

so I sent him 3 pages telling him exactly how petty he was, gpaid my share of that dinner bill, and blocked him everywhere. This was a guy who was educated, well read, wanting to make movies reflecting youth of the society (😂) and was still super petty and entitled and selfish.

So yeah nobody is an exception unless they actually are. Men can choose to be entitled asses because they can get away with no real consequences and they choose to be that because it's the path of least effort.

Thinking unfondly of this really petty asst director (to a woke superstar director no less) that i went out with twice. Kept saying how big a deal it was that he travelled from thuraipakkam to chetpet for a date (he chose the place not me) and
Don't let them tell you 370 boy is an exception. A long time ago, I went on a date with a UK return fuckboy whom I met here. He took me out to dinner then forced me to do stuff with him on a dark part of Thiruvanmiyur beach. When I expressed reluctance, he lashed out and said "I Date miss indias and models, you are anyway just a practice run for me until I start dating properly. I bought you dinner and took you out on a date you should feel lucky" Men think they are entitled to women because they buy us dinner.

insisted that i travel to thuraipakkam for 2nd date (because EQUALITY, and I did). Both dates were meh (and he was also dissing mysskin 💁🏽‍♀️) so i politely texted that this isn't working.

but 100 marks for that one dialogue where someone says about the friend guy, something like "avan director aaganum nu romba kashtapattu poraadi love la thothu poitaan". it's the most i've laughed this month 😂😂
