Exciting news! We are thrilled to announce an exciting new collaboration between @Extropy and the zkok community, aimed at bolstering security within the Mina ecosystem.

The UK is following Australia in banning under 16's from social media. Developments like this are a HUGE opportunity for #zkpassport products to verify identity without revealing everything about a person. @MinaProtocol could be at the forefront of this. What do you think @zkLawyer_@deepthiskumar8bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ceqd…
. @VitalikButerin mentioned Mina while discussing the future of Ethereum!
Proud to see him highlight the vision of a ZK-friendly, minimal, and elegant blockchain from scratch.
Mina is exactly where it needs to be!

Lots of stuff happening this week in @MinaProtocol world and another important milestone for the #Mesa upgrade this week:
The Mesa Trail has now successfully completed the upgrade process, with both legacy and automode upgrade paths tested successfully.
A lot of work still remains, but this IS a significant step forward for the network 🧵

A lot of preparation has been put into the Mesa Trail (I know it took a while) and we have multiple dry runs, Trailblazer testing, documentation updates, tracking tools, upgrade rehearsals etc etc
🌍 Elsewhere, at @ethconf in New York this week, @o1_labs Co-CEO @deepthiskumar8 spoke about a bigger vision for zero-knowledge technology:
That the same technology originally developed for blockchains could eventually help make real-world systems, processes, and credentials verifiable while preserving privacy.
It is interesting to see the conversation around #zk continuing to expand beyond crypto.
At ETHConf, our co-CEO Deepthi Kumar shared how we're thinking about the next chapter of zero knowledge.
First, ZK helped protect privacy.
Then it helped scale blockchains.
The same technology can help make real-world operations verifiable.
We're exploring what we call ZK-Gated Execution: a model where high-stakes actions require cryptographic proof that the relevant rules were followed before the action can proceed.
We believe bringing verifiability to real workflows is one of the most important opportunities for ZK adoption beyond crypto.
Proof over promises.
"Proof over promises." ZK already did privacy and scale.
Its next job: proving an operation followed the rules without exposing the data, in the age of AI agents and AI attackers.
@deepthiskumar8 of @o1_labs on the Breakout Stage at ETHConf.
NYC friends: o1Labs is at @EthConf this week 🗽
Catch @deepthiskumar8 on stage, then stop by the booth to talk all things ZK, Mina, and what it takes to bring programmable cryptography into real-world use cases.
Building toward a privacy-preserving internet, equitable for all. The team behind Mina Protocol and o1js, catalyzing a new generation of applications powered by ZK cryptography.
Welcome @o1_labs as a Ruby Sponsor of ETHConf 2026. 🗽

UPDATE! I quietly shipped a real piece of infrastructure on @MinaProtocol this week — #MINALIA's (@minaliens) economy is no longer just a Supabase backend pretending to be on-chain. Real wages, signed by real minister keys, moving real ARKIS in @proto_kit runtime modules.
Seven runtime modules now live: Treasury, Ledger, UnitRegistry, Tax, Sales, DevelopmentRegistry, JobRegistry. Three-role authority — deployer, king, 20 ministers. Each territory's minister gates their own employment, payroll, dev mutations.
And the off-chain bridge: a localhost signer service that holds the 22 keys, signs runtime methods on demand, never exposes a key. End-to-end proven this morning — vault drained by exactly 100 ARKIS on a payCycle. Real economy starts here. MORE TESTING TO DO!
#Mesa testing is going well! Both my nodes are up and running the new update. More details to come next week while the team at @o1_labs are powering through with testing over the weekend.
#Mina@o1_labs latest news.... It's been a really busy week for the Mesa upgrade!!!
SO there latest is.... Mesa Trail testing continues, additional dry runs have been completed, new upgrade tracking tools have been rolled out, and updated documentation has been published to help operators and developers prepare.
The pace is picking up now!
🌍 Elsewhere, some familiar faces from the Mina ecosystem are at @ethconf in New York this week, including o1Labs Co-CEO @deepthiskumar8.
If you're attending, it's a good opportunity to learn more about @MinaProtocol , #o1js, zero-knowledge proofs, and privacy-preserving applications.
And a reminder for all the builders:
⚙️ Protokit is now live on Devnet.
If you've been curious about building privacy-enabled applications or custom app-chains on Mina, now is probably a good time to start exploring what's possible.
