This was a crazy way to end Pride @PhillyMayor β they literally trapped people in streets. To campaign on One Philly United and have this response to a community celebration during one some of most difficult times in this country. INSANITY.
Going out in Phillyβs gayborhood is done for me.
Mayor Cherelle Parker is ruining the city in more ways than thisβ we were in a police state, surrounded by cops in riot gear, bicycles and squad cars.
This isnβt ONE PHILLY!!
At 7:57 yesterday the cops begin to cut off all intersections to 13th.
They trapped us in between streets w/no exit, when asked we kept getting redirected only to be trapped in a new street.
P/O Abreu badge #9883 (9th district, I think) begin threatening Pride Goers even telling someone he would put them in the hospital.
I felt like an animal going to slaughter trying to find a way out.
