We are very glad to have you back on our 🧢 conservative team Scott. Scott has always been a strong advocate for Lesser Slave Lake and for northern Alberta, and I know how deeply he cares about the people and communities he represents. I want to thank him for the sincere effort he has made to reconnect with caucus and rejoin our team. I look forward to working together again on behalf of Albertans.
I have an exciting announcement to make. It’s one of the greatest honours of my life to represent the people of Lesser Slave Lake. You have placed your trust in me to be your voice, and that responsibility matters deeply to me. Over the past year, I’ve taken some time to reflect on certain moments and on how I chose to raise concerns publicly, particularly when it came to colleagues and teammates in government. While holding government to account is an important part of our Westminster system, I wasn’t elected to serve as a member of the opposition. I was elected as a member of the United Conservative Party, a team I was proud to be part of and one that the people of Lesser Slave Lake put their trust in.Ā  Looking back, there were times I let passion and emotion lead my decisions. My public criticism of the Premier and the government, particularly around the budget, came from passion for our riding, but I recognize now there was a better way to handle those disagreements. I’ve always stood up for my constituents, and that’ll never change. But I’ve learned that how I raise concerns matters and that I’m best able to serve the people I represent when I work as part of a strong team. I’m grateful for the opportunity to move forward, and I’m glad to be welcomed back in the United Conservative Caucus, where I belong, working alongside colleagues to deliver for the great people of Lesser Slave Lake and for all Albertans. This is an exciting day for our riding and I’m ready to get back to work in Government.

*please watch and share* Violent crimes and dangerous, repeat offenders have exploited our communities and manipulated the federal governments soft on crime policies for too long. We need to restore common sense law and order and stop the revolving door for criminals who prey on innocent people. The federal government needs to stop wasting taxpayer dollars chasing law-abiding gun owners, farmer, business owners and hunters. How about they focus on actual gun-related crimes (murder, armed robbery) and gangs; and make our streets and communities safe again. #JailNotBail #ProtectVictimsNotCriminals #RepealBillC75 #BailReform

*We saved the riding! Please watch and share* We still need to vote on it and pass it in the legislature but this is an incredible win for the people of Lesser Slave Lake. I’ve learned a lot in the last year andĀ definitely made some mistakes and certainly I would’ve done things in a different way. But I will never apologize for standing up for northern Alberta and I’ve never been prouder to be your MLA. Thank you to everyone 😊 #abpoli

*Please watch and share* Yesterday in the legislature, I used my member statement to honour Don Cherry. An icon to the sport of hockey, a proud Canadian and fierce advocate for veterans and first responders; Not to mention being a real beauty šŸ‘ I’m open to having respectful conversations about it, but he’s a no-brainer for the Order of Canada for me. #abpoli #grapes4orderOfCanada #JeanBeliveauIndeed #Bawango #TopCorner

WE GOT IT DONE. Thank you to everyone for the support and all of the regional leaders who’ve been instrumental in advocating for ā€œresource revenue mappingā€. This is a big win for the north and for our riding. Ā  Motion 507 passed unanimously in the Alberta Legislature yesterday with support from both the UCP and NDP. A rare moment of common ground in a very partisan environment. Ā  This is about transparency. Fairness. And standing up for our communities. Ā  See my full speech on Motion 507 here. #abpoli #theNorthRemembers

Motion 507 has just officially PASSED unanimously in the Alberta Legislature today. I was proud to bring forward this motion and even prouder to see it receive support from both the UCP and the NDP. Motion 507 pushes for better resource revenue mapping, helping show exactly how much wealth communities in northern Alberta generate through industries like oil and gas, forestry, agriculture, and more. This is about transparency, fairness, and making sure northern Alberta’s contributions are clearly recognized. More information and a video from today’s debate coming soon. #abpoli

My heart is with the people of Tumbler Ridge and the families of those lost in yesterday’s devastating tragedy. In small communities, when something this tragic happens, it touches everyone. These towns are built on neighbours looking out for each other and standing together in hard times. Praying for the families, the students, and all those affected.

Yesterday, the lives of JJ Wright, Cameron Casorso and Caden Fine were tragically lost in a car accident on a way to hockey practice. As a former junior coach and player, this definitely hits close to home and there are no words that are adequate. My deepest sympathies and condolences go to the families, loved ones and everyone involved with the Mustangs team and community. ā€œThe streets of heaven are too crowded with angels tonightā€ ā¤ļø šŸ™šŸ¾

*ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES UPDATE* ā¬‡ļø(Please listen and share) Hello everyone, Last week I had the opportunity to speak directly to the Electoral Boundaries Commission on behalf of the people of Lesser Slave Lake and Northern Alberta. I was proud to stand up for our region and make a clear, simple case: keep the Lesser Slave Lake riding intact and do not eliminate any northern seats. Northern communities face vast distances, sparse populations, unique challenges, and significant shadow populations, and our representation must reflect that reality. A life in Northern Alberta is worth just as much as a life anywhere else in this province. I’m encouraged by how receptive the Commission was to our presentation. They engaged deeply with the issues and even extended the session by an additional 30 minutes for questions and discussion. I feel optimistic that we have turned the tides and they may correct course on the proposed changes from their interim report from a couple months ago. I will make sure to update everyone on any progress regarding the fate of our riding of Lesser Slave Lake. Thank you to everyone across the North who submitted, showed up, and spoke out. Your voices made a difference. We’ll be sharing more details and video clips from the Q&A in the coming days, and I’ll continue fighting to make sure Northern Alberta always has a strong voice and a seat at the table. Thank you ā˜ŗļø #SaveLesserSlave #TheNorthRemembers

Hello everyone, I’m about to head in and make the case to the Electoral Boundary Commission to reverse their decision and save our riding of Lesser Slave Lake. This region works because it’s kept whole, and the current legislation is clear on why that matters and there is ridings like ours that have been given exceptional status. We’ve been advocating in the North for more representation, not less. #SaveLesserSlave
