Years ago when had more time, I bought the domain smarterpolitics.org w/ dreams of building a website where politicians could be held accountable for SMART goals / have a "lifetime trust" rating. I'm never going to build it - anyone want the domain (free) before I delete it?

SQLite has a load of awesome features needed if you have lots of complex metadata: great! But too many people use it as a key-value store.
@gvwilson @cyrillerossant @ctitusbrown For simple metadata, JSON can be parsed in FORTRAN88, edited in Notepad, fulltext OS search...

A relational database in a file is cool if you need the performance and features of SQL. But for our use-case, JSON is open and much better.

NWB alpha standardises the nature of data ("what") as well as the format ("how"). As long as "what" is standard, converting "how"s is easy.
