So great having @mikeeisenberg on again to talk about the next big milestone for the Israeli economy (and a little Hanukkah too of course)!

Saturday’s PG&E outage was a unique stress test for SF. While our Driver safely handled 7,000 dark traffic signals, we’re also integrating lessons: rolling out fleet-wide updates for better navigation during outages and deepening coordination with Mayor Lurie & first responders. Nobody made this guy do this. Nothing about being critical of Israel's conduct requires this. Some people just like blaming Jews for bad stuff in the world, and when they repeatedly demonstrate who they are, we should believe them.

I graduated from the journalism program at SF State in 2003 and never stepped foot on campus again because of the anti-Israel and anti-Jewish atmosphere at the school and in the department, which I personally experienced multiple times. I hope the school is taking this seriously. But sadly, it's not a new problem. Man arrested for arson at San Francisco Hillel | The Jerusalem Post jpost.com/diaspora/antisemit…

Somewhere in early 2022, Avinatan started his first job with @nvidia, a decision that would later prove to be one of the best he ever made in his life. Throughout the entire two years that Avinatan was held captive, @nvidia was much more than just a workplace; it was one big family. The immense support the company gave Avinatan and his family was extraordinary. People who had never even met him held signs with his picture every single day, every meeting began with a mention of him and a call for his return, and they even kept his desk corner untouched until the day he came back. Everyone—absolutely everyone—stepped up and helped: teammates, his direct manager, employees at the Israel site, and senior executives. All of this was done in full coordination and with direct support from the company’s CEO, Jensen Huang, who personally accompanied the family and called repeatedly to ask how they were doing. @nvidia never forgot Avinatan, who had only worked there for a year and a half before he was kidnapped. Seeing how the company stood by him the entire time shows us what true mutual responsibility really means—how even in days of success and prosperity, they stood by their employee, and fought alongside us. Thank you!!

Now that we know there's no AI bubble (j/k) let's talk about the prospects of a much smaller cyber bubble... and why, despite the frothiness, a lot of value is also being created (hint: threats are constantly evolving and cyber spend is going up up up). On the latest episode of What's Your Number, @YonatanAdiri and I spoke with @ArmisSecurity cofounder and CEO Yevgeny Dibrov about the state of cyber deals, the future of Israeli cyber startups, and Armis' path to an IPO... lnk.to/7NgQFj
