I have just asked the Governor General to dissolve Parliament and call a federal election on April 28.

It was a beautiful day to celebrate progress on the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain. This project promises to be a transformative development for our city, representing the first major investment in rapid transit in Surrey in over three decades.
With Surrey’s population expected to reach one million in the next two decades, improved transit connectivity is essential not only for current residents but also for future generations. I want to thank the federal and provincial governments for their support in bringing this project to life.
