I’m excited to share that I’m taking a step away from my daily duties at Mitch Lyons Wealth for a very good reason….
I’m proud to announce that I’ll be joining Pat Fitzgerald’s staff @MSU_Football as assistant to head coach Pat Fitzgerald.
This wasn’t an easy decision. We are growing something amazing at MLW but my heart told me that this is where I need to be in this moment.
Restoring MSU football to prominence is our goal and I’m honored to have a role in that journey.
MLW is in good hands, with Don Price handling day to day management, and I firmly believe MSU football is as well. I look forward to helping Coach Fitz in any way possible to make all Spartans proud of our team again.
I’ve already received buy in on my first idea from Fitz and J Batt and this single idea will more than pay my hefty salary.
As part of my job description, I will open up playcalling to the fan base by unveiling an app later this summer that will allow fans to choose the next play call.
These play calls will be auctioned each play online in real time and I will report directly to Fitz what the call should be each play.
This will allow him to focus on other duties and get our fans more involved.
We are all in this together, NOW more than EVER!!
We as fans can raise money for the program AND take direct responsibility for coaching decisions.
I hope you join me in my excitement for this opportunity!
