Everyone around Auvergne dining table in Auvergne is in a 18th c play INSIDE LESTAT'S HEAD. Larger than life characters, big booming voices, exaggerated acting and accent. Because they have to compete with rowdy crowd.

She seems impressed that he killed 8 wolves so it could be the turning point where she starts to see him as a “worthy man” and therefore the subject of her desire

When i watched season 1 I loved that Sam learned to say some of Lestat’s lines in French. I was so inspired that I started learning French too. And now 3 years later, he’s singing a whole song in French and I’m able to understand some of it. Incredible how far we’ve both come 🥺

I think it’s very telling that Lestat wrote Your Biggest Fan from the perspective of his abuser. It’s a well known coping mechanism where you distance yourself from your trauma.
Louis did the same in s2 when he referred to himself as “one” instead of “I” and Daniel called him out

if you actually paid attention you'd realise that they already made Lestat's brand of unreliability crystal clear.
