Our office foyer @VillawoodEastPS has some amazing new artwork!
As part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations each class, preschool to year 6, designed and created a section of the Rainbow Serpent. When combined the canvases form a stunning whole school artwork!

Many teachers Iāve spoken to are frustrated over the talk about schools. Itās not about schools being āopenedā vs āclosedā. Itās about telling us our work is so critical that we have to go to work even if weāre close contacts, but with no details on additional safety measures.

I still think too many ppl outside of teaching donāt understand concept of having to take work home - practically and psychologically - every day. In a lot of jobs, however late you finish, you finish.

I don't care how many PhDs you have, if you haven't taught a reasonably full timetable in a primary or secondary school for at least a couple of years, you cannot claim to be an expert in primary or secondary education.
