🚨 *MASSIVE* ongoing phishing campaign targeting high profile web3 people!🚨
The attackers call the victim and spoof Apple's caller ID (display caller as "Apple, Inc." which is very easy to fake). Then someone very professional pretends they need the recovery pin.

A friend nuked their chrome app data clearing out metamask and doesn’t have their seedphrase.
Pretty sure we can use Recuva or something to find the keystore, but not entirely sure what we’re looking for.
Anyone dealt with recovering this way before?

Really dangerous & deceptive marketing tactics out there on MPC-based key management solutions. Several companies pretend that "there's no private key" when using MPC.. 😖 Quite a few folks reached out to confirm so I'm taking some time to rebute all this:
