Interesting times ahead, and here’s my two cents 👇🏾 Technology disruption is here to stay. Many business leaders believe AI can replace humans because it works faster, it’s consistent and reduces cost. Here’s the catch: business decisions require risk assessment and asking the right questions. What level of access does this tool have?
What actions can it perform?
Who is accountable for those actions?
Who reviews the decisions it makes? AI is powerful, but there must be room for human intervention, especially in decision-making. Tools act based on prompts/pre-defined inputs, but the real question is 👇🏾
Who makes the final decision when business impact is at stake?
NEWS: Amazon’s internal AI coding assistant determined the engineers’ existing code was inadequate so it deleted it to start from scratch. Parts of AWS were down for 13 hours as a result.

You think running "Portable Chrome" or "Hacker Tools" from a USB drive keeps you invisible. It doesn't. The second you plug that drive in, Windows logs the Volume Serial Number to the Registry. When the Forensice analyst (or Feds) audit that machine, they see: Device "KingstonDT" connected at 14:00. Prefetch shows "Mimikatz.exe" ran at 14:01. Unplugging the drive didn't scrub the Registry. 💀

‼️ Meet Ryan Clifford Goldberg, a Digital Forensics and Incident Response manager at Sygnia, he is one of three insiders accused of cybercrimes. He allegedly conducted cyberattacks using ALPHV BlackCat ransomware. Goldberg and two other insiders ran ransomware operations since 2023 while employed at cybersecurity firms. After an FBI visit, Goldberg confessed. He now faces up to 50 years in prison.

Imagine dealing with 570,000 knocks on your door at once. How would you know which knock is true or false? That struggle applies to AppSec engineers, who deal with thousands of alerts and have to filter false positives from critical alerts for immediate fixes. But what if there's a way to minimise the noise and help AppSec engineers focus on working on critical alerts? That's exactly what Jit solves. It uses AI agents to improve remediation efficiency for AppSec teams. It achieves this by: Agentic AppSec investigation: It's not enough to identify vulnerabilities; AppSec engineers must understand how attackers can exploit them. And this is where Jit’s AI agents come in: they automatically determine the alerts attackers can exploit and their attack paths, and present them in an easy-to-understand, code-scanning report. Create custom agents to track critical CVEs: AppSec engineers never stop monitoring vulnerabilities, especially high-impact ones. Jit makes the process seamless through its custom AI agents, which can create a customised dashboard with a prompt that automatically updates the CVE that matters most to you in a defined period. Automated remediation with a human touch: Review and adjust Jit's AI agents before generating and applying fixes. Consolidated scanning for optimised application security posture management (ASPM): One reason AppSec engineers struggle with risk prioritisation is the lack of coordination amongst several tools. Jit, however, provides a workaround. It consolidates your reports from multiple sources in one place to streamline the alerts to analyse and remediate. eu1.hubs.ly/H0p0HKg0
