It depends, boymoding is a very neutered type of presentation with mostly absent gendered elements of expression and presentation. When transfems stop shaving their face/body, are visibly balding, dress and behave performatively male, many will perceive it as damaging to optics.

Being overly positive or censoring realistic limitations to avoid deterring people is not compassionate, it's deceptive. Adults considering transition deserve the unvarnished truth so they can make genuinely informed choices.
I get sooooo annoyed with trans women who doom about hrt. 2 years is not a long time on HRT! Many trans women continue to get effects for up to 5 years! And please stop harmfully generalizing hrt in a negative way. That's literally gonna scare people to stay in the closet. /1
