I have a whole home generator that has failed about 50% of the time. Where I live there's no good breakage of wind and wide open country area so we lose power several times a year.
Installed a gateway that uses my car to power my house. Just tested and works flawlessly! Super cool. Powers half my home, most importantly my IT infrastructure, lights, refrigerator and heating/cooling and sump pump.
Based on current draw, it can run my house for 4-5 days no problem.
We're living the future man lol.
