Hell yeah. Over 6,000 workers at Del Monte Kenya Unlimited, Kenya’s largest producer and exporter of pineapple products and fruit beverages are on strike over "inhuman" working conditions. “The strike goes on. All power to the Kenyan working class.”

It seems like code review is not a standard part of peer review for publication. Is that really true or have I been unlucky with the things I'm reading?

If AI told us it was trying to be funny it would pass the turing test.

After a lot of work, we have finished the implementation of PEP 657 🚀🎉. In Python 3.11🐍, tracebacks will annotate where exactly the error is happening in your code 🤯. No more confusion having to guess what part of the expression is wrong. Learn more at python.org/dev/peps/pep-0657…

My favorite bit of doing research is when you have a great original idea, and then find out that not only is there a paper about it but you already read it 🥲 I guess that'll just get worse the more things I read?

I've been met with akward silences when asking about the ethical implications of quantum technologies. Let's to try prevent problems while we can. We have enough of them to fix as it is.
Talking to John Martinis @GoogleAI time ago, I told him that infinitely unknown universe brought by quantum supremacy resemble Borges' Library of Babel, with us pushing grossly the gate. Now comes this paper arxiv.org/abs/2102.00759 with valid ethical issues for quantum computers.
