Our debt is real. Our fiscal trajectory is unsustainable. Bitcoin is one of the few tools that could help right that wrong for younger Americans.

“Blockchain payment solutions allow transactions to settle almost instantly and for pennies on the dollar compared to traditional wires or credit card processing fees. Across the country, companies are already using these systems to pay vendors, receive funds from customers, and handle cross-border transactions.”
"Organizations like the New Hampshire Blockchain Council are working to ensure that our state does more than talk about innovation. 🤔 Thought experiment Should the state ban Pokémon trading card vending machines because criminals have found ways to trick unsuspecting individuals into purchasing cards and sending them to the scammers? What would your policy prescription be?

New Hampshire should be expanding access to digital assets — not making it harder. The NH Senate just passed legislation on crypto kiosks that includes: A $2,000 transaction limit A 14-day refund period Removal of local bans Moving away from local bans was the right call. Fragmented rules don’t work. But the bigger issue is this: Are we making it easier for people to participate in the digital economy — or harder? The states that lead in blockchain aren’t the ones adding friction. They’re the ones creating environments where innovation, access, and responsible use can actually grow. A recent op-ed by @BrianLabrie highlights this issue well: New Hampshire has momentum. The focus now should be on building — not slowing things down. unionleader.com/opinion/op-e…

Quick and dirty on the 50 year mortgage: Given current rates, they'd reduce monthly mortgage costs by 15% today. But they'd also raise home prices 10-20% over time So short term benefit -- in time for midterms. But long term it just converts into more expensive houses that you'll pay off when you're 103.
