That doesn't help the teams they're beating up on this season. Private schools have such an advantage, especially 1A & 2A. They can draw players from a much larger geographic area, while public schools have only one or two towns. Private small schools need a separate class.

Illinois high school sports are in a terrible situation. The courts have basically stripped the IHSA of any real power, so there are no significant consequences for using ineligible players.
It is a serious problem with no obvious solution.

The Raiders are back-to-back Regional Champs after their 56-22 victory. The team was led by Brooklynn Moore (16pts), Rheayanna Ferguson (10pts), and Callie Hardtke (9pts). Next game is Tuesday at 6pm against DePaul College Prep.
