Now you understand why Simon Peter denied Jesus. It was a matter of survival. Imagine the son calling an MP right now, asking, "I am told that you are one of Among's best friends, is it true?" Amwegaana emirundi esatu.

This is almost the same story that I was told before I invested all my savings and a loan in cassava seven years ago. I hired 20 acres in Kabutuukulu- Masindi and planted NASE 14 cassava Variety after convincing me that it was on demand to produce Ngule beer. When harvest time reached, the same buyers who wanted cassava changed story. They now wanted white flour. This required me to buy machinery that processes white flour. Remember, for it to be white, the process has to take a day or two maximum (uprooting cassava, wash, peel, chop, squeeze it to become a cake, then process the cake further into flour, put it in a drier etc) It all required some machines but I was already exhausted financially. I couldn’t afford them. BTW, they even told me that I don’t sell to them directly. I had to sell the flour to a middle man who had a contract with them. I wish they had told me all this before I invested my hard earned money. 🙆😭 On a serious note, I cried. I ended up selling my cassava to traders who bought at their will because I was desperate. That is one of the biggest business losses I have registered in my life. I invested about 30 million as I was told that I would make over 100 million in profits. I got traders from Kireka-Kampala who bought some cassava of about 1 million as they complained that I planted a variety that was not good for food. I left the rest in the garden and never went back. I don’t know what happened with it. My time, my money, the hopes that faded. It took me years to clear the loan and to recover psychologically. In conclusion, it is always a juicy deal before you become part of it.
There is a factory that is idle because it requires 500 tons of cassava every day. I hear we have no jobs. We do not have that Cassava in Uganda. I know someone who can NOT fill the quota of pineapples he has to export. We are all on Boda Boda.

When an African man takes you to meet his friends and you find a woman, just know that she is there to make a comparison. She will tell him who is better, you or the ones who were introduced before you. She determines whether you should be retained or fired. 😂

Being an understanding broke boyfriend is so painful. You watch a WhatsApp status of your girlfriend who can't afford a plate of food at Serena, enjoying life in a five star hotel overseas and somehow she manages to convince you that she saved and travelled with the girls. 😂

People will always talk. They will talk about you with contempt if you are poor and with envy if you are rich. They will talk anyway.

If you don’t want people to leave you, then don’t let money leave you. Because they will definitely leave when it goes. 📌

President Museveni confirming 100m reminds me a story of an old widow. You sneak into her home late in the night and make love. A few days later, she finds you in the bar and hugs you. When you hesitate, she spills the secret. She even tells everyone about the scar on your d*ck!

Bro, the love you get corresponds with the size of your wallet. Don’t ever let it dry. Unfair, but that is the world we live in.
