Spotted at the Vancouver airport yesterday. When I was a young reader I could have never imagined shelves full of books by Indigenous authors at a big city airport bookstore. Times have changed for the better. So write your story! It could end up anywhere.

Thank you @DurhamForestEEC for a great day of learning and fun. Grade 7&8’s learned how to start a fire and boil water in a @KellyKettle and of course we played #wolfprowl to learn about predators/prey and the food chain.

🧅 cell vs. Epithelial (skin) cell lab was a hit. Lots of engagement. Ss learned how to make a wet mount slide and identify parts of a plant and animal cell. 🔬 @BellwoodPS

Mathletes was a success! Intermediate Ss guided junior students through a series of math stations that were engaging. @BellwoodPS answered over 5500 questions today! Way to go Bobcats!

I reported two acts of antisemitism to Toronto Police in the past two days.
Both have been categorized “hate crimes.“
I’ve lived here my entire life and never experienced this.
Tolerance and understanding must prevail over ignorance and hate.

This week grade 8’s started labs with microscopes. They cut out the letter “e” from the newspaper, mounted it on a slide and observed how it looked at different magnification levels. @BellwoodPS
