I have been working on a collection of math tasks that I am calling "180 Days of Math Tasks." So far I am one-third of the way with 60 tasks completed. I am hopeful to also include extensions and other add-ons. The collection is here: bit.ly/180daysmath

All the quilling is done for my quillbox. I have to work on the spruce root tomorrow and sewing the sweetgrass on and constructing the lid. Iโll be weaving quills through the spruce root on the lid

We're missing the point about math anxiety and timed math tests.
Whether the relationship is causational or not is NOT what's significant.
The entanglement of these 2 concepts is blinding us to the dangers each brings to a student.

Effective teachers don't focus so much on rules, but more on relationships, routines, & expectations. If you focus mainly on rules, you will spend most of the year enforcing them. But if you focus on relationships, routines, & expectations, you rarely have to defer back to rules.
