Former ELL Britney was once a newcomer in my English 9 class—today, she returned as an intern, teaching the very class she sat in just 4 years ago! She created & led a lesson on Natural Disasters, where each group designed a disaster plan with survival materials in English🌪️📚👏

I tweet about this activity every semester because it’s ALWAYS a hit in my co-taught ENL English class! “Peeling the Fruit" 🍊has students select 4 key quotes and explain the significance of each which ultimately leads to a common theme. So accessible for all learners! #ENL
