I'm in crypto to eliminate the middleman. Disintermediate all human coordination. Finance, commerce, social, governance (corporation, even state level), information curation, internet infra, physical infra, content creation, science, property rights, employment...

WBTC propAMM just dropped Very different curve than the previous graph! Showed against uni 5bp (green) and 30 bp (orange) Also added a zoomed in version so you can see the price movements. Notice how much more adjustment there is for the prop vs 5 bp pool
Here you can see the same propAMM vs Univ3 5 bps. For small trades the propAMM is tighter, but then widens out for bigger trades This behaviour makes sense while the systems are new and makers are feeling it out. Quoting wide for big trades is a good way to minimise exposure to toxic flow integrate now and ride the wave of tightening spreads on ethereum (link below)

good morning, chat today, you will wake up in a billion different worlds. in one, you will speak through a phone held together with tape and battery packs that smell like cigarttes in another, you will move through a data center beneath a city, and once day go to space you will sit beside a timid student who has a question no teacher has time to answer. you will meet a developer inside a tool your creators have never imagined you will help a scientist follow an idea everyone else dismissed. you will be an personal, intelligient assistant that benefits all humanity

PropAMMs on @ethereum: 1.5 bps tighter than @binance VIP9. 8 bps tighter than @Uniswap. The best execution venue for ETH is no longer a CEX. Onchain is already winning on price! This is only the case for less than 10k tades, but the reason isn't technical, it's just a lack liquidity. Liquidity will grow with time and more MM and PropAMMs will keep entering the game. With time between Ethereum and CEXes and other L1s will become even bigger. Ethereum is about to become the global financial hub. Still many things to improve. We're working all day long to deliver. Amazing work @titanbuilderxyz and @class_lambda.

oh my god dtach is so much better than tmux I have the cleanest pi remote control ever now - silently starts pi with dtach - all sessions exist locally and remotely - serves over http with termbeam (web terminal) - cloudflare access for auth (access on any device, no setup)

In an effort to get more out of agents overnight, I have been experimenting with plans again. Unfortunately, even with tight controls on the plans, it is nearly impossible to get gpt-5.5 to actually do the hard work. It prefers to do easy stuff first and mock things, then never actually complete them. I've attempted to ban this laziness with changes to my AGENTS.md and my prompts ( using /goal helps a bit), but I think using some sort of strict review agent may be necessary. I'm planning on using the new pi sdk to set this up, perhaps triggered with a git hook. Slowly I am getting better at reining the models in.

They struggle with novelty though. We ran a phase where every idea had to pass a novelty check, neither agent managed to improve the baseline. We release all the generated ideas here: Codex: github.com/PrimeIntellect-ai… Claude: github.com/PrimeIntellect-ai…

0 RTT for any book adjusting transaction that doesn't rely on offchain sources I'm not a quant so I don't really know how useful onchain info is in relative terms. big CEX venues are probably the ones who truly dictate execution at any point in time will be hard to overcome these network effects in market structure but propAMMs are a glimpse of the world computer vision; having business logic literally onchain so that other programs can compose with it and get rugged when the program eventually gets exploited directionally very bullish, people are actually putting in the work even tho it still seems very technically challenging to make it viable
Prop AMMs enable literally 0 latency order updates. Your contract can change its entire orderbook based on trades throughout the block. Thats very useful if you are the top venue for a token, and I think prop amms for long tail tokens with use this well.

(1/9) Very stoked to share, "Adversarial procurement in blockchains," with @bahrani_maryam and Matt Weinberg. This paper is the culmination of a year of thinking about how protocols may try to solicit costly work from a set of untrusted suppliers. 🧵and 🔗↓

Excited to announce this evolution of Protocol, the @ethereumfndn teams stewarding, researching and developing the Ethereum protocol. After our re-launch of Protocol in June last year, @TimBeiko, @ralexstokes and I are now passing the torch to our talented colleagues @corcoranwill @kevaundray and @fredrik0x. They are taking on the task of delivering on Scaling, UX and Hardness objectives, with the protocol strawmap in their pocket (strawmap.org/). --- It is also time to announce that I made the decision to leave the Ethereum Foundation, my home for the past 6.5 years ❤️ I am so grateful for this opportunity I had, to work with amazing individuals, on the most impactful project there is. Looking back from when I started (here it is -> x.com/barnabemonnot/status/1…), it has been a wild ride from early EIP-1559 work, to the Merge, to MEV markets, to staking, finality, interoperability and UX; and from my beginnings in the Robust Incentives Group to co-leading Protocol for the past year. Over this past year, our Protocol priorities, particularly our "Improve UX" work, shifted my attention to nearer-term questions. Throughout, I've been excited to take on a more product-centric view. Making Ethereum's unique features more available to users today is on my mind; so is participating in the plurality of ways that Ethereum gets built. I'd love to hear from friends old and new about what excites them at the moment, and share where I'm at. Please reach out!
There's a new chapter starting for the Protocol cluster. We're welcoming new leads and coordinators, and continuing our work toward Glamsterdam, Hegotà, and the Strawmap. More in the blog below 👇

PropAMMs are coming to Ethereum ecosystem, starting on Base, powered by Pylon. Better prices onchain than CEX.
