Carl later sold the winery in 1997 so he could build his next wild project right next door: the colorful, artistic Quixote Winery designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser. There’s also the Stags Leap District with no apostrophe, a small Napa area famous for elegant Cabernets. A little punctuation mark tells a whole story🍷and loads more if you want to investigate the Chase/Mizner era :)

Fun one; The Stags’ Leap estate was also used to film The Earth is Mine in 1958, Falcon Crest in the 1980s, and later Dying Young in 1991.
