I've been trying to convince myself otherwise but I cannot. I'm surprised the market isn't reacting to this but it is the weekend I suppose...
Restricting their customer base Slowing down model releases (by at least 3-6 months) Models that cross a certain intelligence threshold are now a supply chain risk for non US enterprises and foreign subsidiaries of US enterprises Doesn't look bullish to me

Such great marketing. Reminds me of when this shoe company got the NBA to ban their shoes for making you jump too high
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

trying to grapple with how crazy it is that the gov't just shut down the latest model already due to nat sec only 4 years after chatGPT came out bullish: AI is getting insanely good, insanely fast bearish: the perpetual growth machine could be about to grind to a halt

If $SPCX breaks out of today's trading range (150-175), it's probably not returning any time soon.
$SPCX ended up doing $85b in volume. Gargantuan number. Easily a record for an IPO and in the Top 10 all time for any stock on any day. For context, it's more volume than Apple has ever done in 40yrs. Nice job @StevenUhey he guessed the closest of anyone in my replies with $69b.

I'm long $SPCX on Hyperliquid seems like the early price-insensitive degens got blown out. it held up well through volatility in the indices today. it's about 5% above the IPO price now if the oversubscription claims are to be believed, then i don't see how it doesn't pop higher than 5% above IPO it's a huge asset but the float is very small i don't think this IPO will play out anything like how the Cerebras IPO did: - I'm seeing a lot of FUD and bearish sentiment around it - i think the bulls will have much stronger hands on this one - Cerebras had a lot of immediate insider unlocks - I think career risk on not owning spaceX is much higher SpaceX is Elon literally all of the most cool and exciting narratives of the current moment. sounds like they're going to merge with Tesla too (regardless, all that matters is the market thinks they will) tomorrow is supposedly the last day to get an allocation before it closes. after that, the only way to get exposure is to long perps 😁 until the IPO, which will probably be sometime Friday afternoon

you know what... 6th most valuable company in the world isn't bad 😅 i'm gonna reduce my position here. i'd like to exit the rest on a swing above today's session high.

if you're trying to analyze publicly available market data that can be analyzed better by a computer, you should just assume you're gaining no edge especially true in tradfi, as opposed to crypto
