I am officially promoting myself from `Agentic Engineer` to `Agentic Software Architect` ! ๐Ÿ˜ I am trying my best to adopt to the new era of software development and trying to stay positive :)
The most wholesome rant on AI development. โ€œIf you love software development donโ€™t go do something elseย โ€ฆ Itโ€™s more vital now then ever to actually learn how to codeโ€ โ€Šโ€”โ€Š@traversymedia

Marketing: "Quinoa is an ancient superfood eaten by Incas for thousands of years." Historical record: The Incas primarily fed quinoa to llamas and used it as animal feed. They ate the llamas. Why? Saponins - toxic soap-like molecules that create holes in cell membranes, damage intestinal lining, cause leaky gut. Traditional Inca preparation: Soak for days, rinse repeatedly, sometimes ferment for weeks to reduce saponins. Modern preparation: Quick rinse, 15 minutes cooking. The saponins remain. Protein: 8g per 100g cooked. Only 60-75% bioavailable, incomplete amino acids, bound to phytates. Beef: 26g per 100g, 95% bioavailable, complete profile, zero anti-nutrients. 2000s-2010s: Quinoa price increases 700%. Economic result: Bolivian and Peruvian farmers who traditionally consumed quinoa now export it all because it's become too expensive. They've shifted to processed Western foods. Documented outcome: Obesity and diabetes rates have increased significantly in these regions. The superfood made Western consumers feel virtuous while economically forcing traditional farmers toward worse nutrition. The Incas thrived on llama meat. The quinoa was what they fed to the food.

GITHUB is DOWN ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜ญ For those of us that practically live on @github... this is rough ๐Ÿ˜… About 10 minutes ago I tried my usual git push and it started hanging. I tried git ls-remote and even switched to a VPN, and everything was still failing or timing out. So I checked githubstatus.com/ โ€ฆand sure enough, thereโ€™s a Major Outage on Git Operations. If your pushes suddenly stopped working, itโ€™s not you. Itโ€™s GitHub. Nothing is wrong with your repo, your Git, or your setup - GitHub is just having a meltdown. Go to bed, grab a snack, take a break - your commits will still be there when GitHub comes back online ๐Ÿ˜‚ #developer #development #fullstack #softwareEngineering #WebDevelopment #TypeScript #coding #github #repo #push #commit #majorOutage #gitOperations #githubDown #down #outage

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ปDear fellow developers that are using Windows ๐Ÿ’ป How do you effectively access Safari's built-in developer tools -including the DOM inspector, CSS styles panel, and console - while working exclusively on a Windows machine? I'm not looking for a simple visual mimic or a User-Agent swap; I absolutely require the full debugging tools to check layout, inspect elements, and see my console.log() output on the actual WebKit engine. I do have a physical iPad mini 4, but using it directly or connecting it to Windows doesn't grant me the Safari Web Inspector, which is what I truly need for real-time debugging. Aside from checking with LLMs or relying solely on cloud-based testing services, I am looking for genuine recommendations from people who have implemented a suitable, sustainable practice. What specific virtualization setup, remote debug proxy, or combination of tools have you found to be the most reliable and efficient way to achieve this crucial step in a Windows environment? Your practical workflow tips would be incredibly valuable! ๐Ÿ™ #WebDevelopment #SoftwareEngineering #Programming #FrontEndDeveloper #development #windows #browser #frontend #Safari #DevTools #WindowsDev #CrossBrowserTesting #Webkit #Debugging #coding #html #css #js #vm
